Typically reverse air baghouses have slightly lower particulate emmissions than pulse jet baghouses due to their gentler cleaning cycles. Bag life due to wear will also be extended for the same reason. Pulse jet baghouses have a stronger cleaning cycle and therefore are able to do a better job cleaning the bags especially when the bags start to get coated with hydrocarbons.

roto- air style houses work well in some areas of the country and not so much in others

depends on your working enviorment, in baghose design and nature , your choices are limited.
